We consider the term design to cover considerably more than just giving laboratory furniture appealing shapes and colours. The questioning of common assumptions resulted in the laboratory system mc6, which shows the way to new structures and new aesthetics. The expediently functional and emotionally fresh design supports work processes and  contributes to the well-being of people in the laboratory. In the colour-related aspects of the design we placed the emphasis on a balanced appearance with consistency in the application for optimal orientation within the surroundings in which the user spends a large number of hours per day. As a result laboratories can be clearly and timelessly designed for pleasant working.
